Avanta New Delhi`s Double New Year celebration

Avanta`s Statesman House business center in New Delhi has kicked off 2011 with a double celebration event.

On New Year`s Eve staff decorated the centre and held a barbecue dinner and cocktail event around a bonfire to herald in a new year that holds great promise. The second part of the celebration was the achievement of a record 95% occupancy level.

“Market sentiments are improving in India month on month and GDP growth, which for 2009-2010 was clocked at 7.4%, is expected to increase to 9.2% for 2010-11.” comments David Alberto, Avanta`s managing director. “As a result demand for office space has picked up and an increasing number of companies are establishing operations in India. In addition, companies which had previously shelved their expansion plans are expanding once again; such is the buoyancy in the market.

“Enquiry levels are on the increase too, mostly from IPCs and secondary agents and trends show that a lot of European companies are looking to enter the Indian market and choosing to be in Connaught Place business center because of its great central location. In fact, most of the businesses which moved out of Connaught Place business center during the downturn are once again moving back in.”
